Uber's Software Engineering Apprenticeship is a six month program that helps developers from non-traditional backgrounds jumpstart their careers in software engineering. At Uber, we believe that all kinds of strengths make an impact - and we know that top talent doesn't all look the same.

Apprentices are typically self-taught programmers or coding bootcamp graduates, not traditional computer science graduates. They undergo extended training and work closely with a tech mentor, Uber ambassador, and manager as part of the apprenticeship.
